Description
TRU-ALERT Height Sensor attaches to a climbing harness and is secured to the bracket on approved connectors. When a user climbs higher than 1.5m without clipping in, a Height Warning sounds. If the climber goes higher than 2.5m, the Safety Alarm emits continuous audio and visual warnings that will not turn off until a staff member resets the device.
TRU-ALERT can also help to identify a variety of auto belay retraction issues. The warning system activates if the climber is clipped in, but the tilt switch is not vertical. Examples include when the webbing gets caught on a hold and when a climber pulls down on the webbing to add unnecessary slack.

• Unlike a staff member that can get distracted, the automated system is always

• Warns users and staff about other possible issues such as the webbing line catching
or users misusing the device by pulling out slack
• Provides secondary safety check that auto belaying previously lacked
• Alerts staff to potential auto belay retraction issues

• Rechargeable battery
• No recertification fees
Convenient operator experience
