KT076A / B / G Zipspeed™ Tandem Zipline Trolleys have 7075 Aerospace grade aluminium side plates, to minimise flexing and to provide superior wear resistance, whilst keeping the weight of the trolley to a minimum. They also have the added benefit of an integral stabiliser bar that provides secondary attachment points, which when used in conjunction with the custom made Hurricane Sit Harness and Tri Sling, helps to reduce the twisting and rotation experienced by some participants when travelling down the zipline.
Fitted with special rubber-sealed, deep groove dual ball bearings as standard, chosen for optimal high speed, low friction performance. The rubber seals retain the grease lubricant, whilst defending the bearings from moisture and contaminants: giving the Zipspeed™ a lifespan of several thousand kilometres.
The Zipspeed™ Trolleys are fitted with an acetal brake-buffer (a replaceable wear item see KT076BMP1), to absorb impact load at the end of the run, and have several choices of aperture for attachment to the lanyard, including a large central aperture which will accommodate a wide variety of karabiners and snaphooks. The rear aperture can be used to attach a secondary lanyard.
